A beautiful collection of memories from 2012, Natalia. I feel very blessed to have shared a few special times with you. Thanks for posting the videos from "The Phantom of the Opera", too--they entice me to watch it fully!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your beautiful message, Sharom!!! I have just now updated the blog post with a few more photo memories from 2012, so I hope you enjoy :) Also, I am glad you are enticed by the "Phantom of the Opera" videos -- it is a superb production, made even more thrilling by the real life close friendship between Sierra Boggess (Christine) & Ramin Karimloo (The Phantom), who reprise their roles in the original production of "Love Never Dies" which is Andrew Lloyd Weber's long-anticipated sequel to "The Phantom of the Opera." I love the deep emotion and passion between the two actors in both productions, as well as Lloyd Weber's gorgeous scores, of course. I am eager to hear your thoughts once you watch "Phantom" fully.
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading and commenting on these posts, and for your continued friendship, love, guidance, and encouragement. I will never forget your kindness to me and to my family.
Love,
Natie
Natie, I know I will look forward to seeing Sierra Boggess and Ramin Raimloo in at least one of the productions and will more fully appreciate their performances because of your sharing their persoanl connection with me. Hugs as always, Sharon
DeleteGreat, Sharon! The close friendship that Sierra Boggess & Ramin Karimloo share really does come through intensely in the emotion and physicality of their performances, and in their interactions off-stage during interviews. Their dynamic is really beautiful -- you can tell that they have a deep bond of unconditional love and trust with one another that only serves the intensity of their roles that much more! Hugs to you, too.

P.S. We have the "Phantom of the Opera" 25th Anniversary DVD, so we could make a date to watch it together, if you like :)
ReplyDeleteWatching the "Phantom" with you sounds like a wonderful experience, Natie--perhaps during your Spring Break we can arrange a time to get together for a viewing?
DeleteLove, Sharon
Sharon,
DeleteYES! We MUST arrange a time to get together for a viewing of "Phantom" during Spring Break which, according to the HCC Spring Calendar, will be the week of March 11-15. Just let me know your availability as Spring Break week approaches, and we will set a date/time :) It will be such fun -- I can't wait!!!!
Love,
Natie
Natie,
DeleteMy daughter's Spring Break does not conflict with HCC's Spring Break, so I should be able to find time to see the "Phanton" with you--I'll wait to see when Joseph is scheduled to work that week, so my excursion doesn't conflict with some of our other activities. He can be scheduled to work on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday.
